Location was approx. 10nm off Linden Bank Cairns 45nm off the coast.
On the trip was surprised as they had not seen lures that have a bait chamber which you can fill with fresh bait, then, bingo, we caught 4 more Dorado with the Scent Blazer lures and one small Yellow Fin Tuna.

We caught one Dorado on a Mini Scoop Blue Luminator, one on a Mini Scoop Yellow Squid.
Most of fish caught were: Dorado & Wahoo. We also caught some Marlin but it was at the end of the season.
The water was a perfect blue with small waves and it was sunny. I used the medium Red/Black Squid lure and the Mini Dorado. Of course filled with a sardine.
Tuna Season is big of the east coast of Australia in July. Catching Tuna on a Scent Blazer trolling lure is easy as tuna love the scent of fresh bait.
What an awesome finish with Scent Blazer dominating the waters under tough conditions. And outperforming dead Ballyhoo, all other artificial lures.
caught 4 Yellow Fin Tuna, 2 Dorado and a Wahoo. The fish started hitting when we crossed from 11000 ft of water to 4000 ft.
Duane, Bruce and Darrell fish off the shores of Molokai, Hawaii and had a banner
winter catching Mahi, Tuna, Striped Marlin.
Bait Station we found a decent current line and the water temp rose to 23.5, we slowed down to 8 knots put out our regular spread and ran that current line.
We had fresh Stripped Tuna,Pilchards and Squid in some of the other lures.

Caught this Dorado with a Scent Blazer Purple Frigate lure colours which work well the purple silver and the green luminator.
We ran our underwater cameras as per usual and we got one of the Marlin hook-ups on camera.

We trolled to towards the Whale Fad straight out of from Sydney Heads.We got one Dolphin Fish on the Whale Fad and nothing around Manly Hydraulics, we could see some really small dollies jumping around it.
One notable thing we found when we looked at our underwater camera footage this time. Only single Dolphin Fish were coming up on the spread.
This January's American Bass Tournament was on Lake Mead, just outside Las Vegas, Nevada. These are our winter tournaments and boy are they tough.
We went offshore Sydney for our mandatory game fish session. Finally a day that wasn’t that rough, maybe because we actually went out a bit earlier before the wind picked up.
More dollies, we got a nice one around 70-80 cm on the lure that was down-rigged on the Troll Pro.
We left the rod in the holder and the kids had turns winding it in. I was thinking it was a really big dolliebecause it was not budging and kids were struggling to get a wind on it.
But we weren't done, as we were pulling off the spot we got nailed by a BIG Marlin... 200+... and those other guys had to see it. This was a big fish... possibly a Blue.
Fishing Trip to Samoa. Unfortunately space didn't permit me to take all my tackle across so I had to make the difficult decision of choosing only one of my Scent Blazer lures.
Got 2 Trevally that went around 3lb each, a flattie about 3lb and another bigger flattie that went around 10lb which we let go. We got a few snapper up to a pound and small flounder that we released as well.
Wearrived at Sydney Heads around 3pm and as you might have guessed by now we don’t get up early, we sleep in and fish the afternoons.
